Charles Eugene Pierre Laffitte , born19 November 1803in Paris and died on28 December 1875, Is a banker , knight and politician French.

Nephew of the famous banker Jacques Laffitte , Charles Lafitte is one of the promoters of the construction of the railway Paris-Rouen between 1841 and 1843  . He also participated in the creation of the network of water supply of the town of Maisons-Laffitte from 1859 . Parisian personality, Charles Laffitte, a great lover of horse racing , is a founding member of the Jockey Club , will be created in which the 'Trust. He owned houses in the Park Property Le Val Fleuri where now is located the Malesherbes hall, although the property was so much larger.
